The Gypsy Moon Dance Company currently performs two shows each year, late Spring and early Winter. Shows are currently performed at the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlboro, MA.

More About the Shows

Originally offered to showcase the dances learned during previous classes, the performances of The Gypsy Moon Dance Company have evolved into a fun, theme-oriented dance show that is suitable for all ages. Through costumes, dances, skits, and music, the intent is to evoke an idea or image that carries the audience to another place.

Performances feature dancers of all skill levels, from the beginner to the advanced performer. Group dances are primarily learned choreography and may include signature dances that have been passed from class to class so all may have the opportunity to learn and perform a Gypsy Moon Dance Company favorite. Solos, duets, and small-ensemble performances, however, are usually choreographed or free-styled by the dancers who perform them. Such opportunities are encouraged and available to any dancer invited to pursue them.
